Terms of use

About these terms
These terms apply to the TapComplete app and website, provided by Gavin Jones, trading as TapComplete ("we"). You can contact us at support@tapcomplete.app. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Your account
Keep your login details safe and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens in households you own, including who you invite.
Subscriptions
TapComplete Pro is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. One subscription covers the household it was bought for. It renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before, which you can do in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. On iOS, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.
Acceptable use
Don't use TapComplete to break the law, harass anyone, or interfere with the service or other people's use of it.
NFC tags
Tags you buy and write are yours. A tag only contains a link to a task; anyone who taps it can see that a link exists, but only members of your household can open the task.
The service
We work hard to keep TapComplete running and reminders on time, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, so please don't rely on it for anything safety-critical such as medication. We may change or improve features over time.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Cancelling a store subscription is done through Apple or Google.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
